Collaborative and Interactive Communication Platforms

Most platforms these days are used to connect with friends and family. All social media platforms are interactive and allow you to connect and communicate with people you know. To list a few interactive platforms, there is Periscope, Quora, Facebook Live, Second Life, Skype, Wikis, Google Drive, crowdsourcing, Ustream, Google Voice, Google Messenger, Google Allo, and Google Duo. These are just a few examples.

I think these collaborative and interactive communication platforms are so useful. While I am away at college, through these platforms, my family and I take advantage of the opportunity we have to use them and we are able to stay connected. The platform we use the most is FaceTime, which is offered on every Apple device. Several other video platforms available for download are so handy when it comes to long distance relationships and friendships. It's the best way to keep in contact because you can see each other face-to-face and communicate with non-verbals as well as verbals.
